Life's better with company.

So is seeing a movie.  :)

跟家祺一起去看的。很開心。我說什麼他好像都知道，連"Into The Wild"（天曉得我有多愛這本書！）這麼冷門的書也看過，著實嚇了我一跳。

電影散場後他說：「還滿好看的耶.....」我更開心了。
因為我也這樣覺得。
因為我知道換了其他人，也許會對我說：「你怎麼會喜歡這種電影？」

The first thought that sprang to my mind after seeing the movie was a comparison between Christopher McCandless and Ryan Bingham. Both are loners. One escaped from civilization; the other makes use of civilization to avoid any kinds of commitments. One was literally away from crowds; the other is surrounded but isolated in essence. Chris was idealistic; Ryan is pragmatic and almost cruel. Chris wrote down in his notebook: "Happiness only real when shared." towards the end of the movie; Ryan tells Jim who has got cold feet: "Life's better with company."

Sadly, Chris died; Ryan is heart-stricken when for the first time he's ready to make a connection (God! So was my heart breaking when seeing Alex as a mom, a wife).

I adore Chris for his idealism, but in real life, I guess I'm more like Ryan (except the casual sex part, lol). However, I doubt it when he seems to enjoy his life very much coz I don't. I'd rather commit to something, someone. Hate being alone actually but would rather be alone than be with someone I don't like.

心情不好的時候特別有寫東西的生產力。

我想再去看電影啦！
